Ariane 6 stands tall for launch
Last week, Ariane 6’s central core - the main body of the rocket - was stood tall at the launch zone and connected to its two solid-fuel boosters. This exciting moment means only one thing: it’s the start of the first launch campaign.
The main stage and upper stage make up the core stage, and they were autonomously driven at 3 km/h from the rocket assembly building to the launch pad, 800 m away. Then lifted by a crane, the Ariane 6 core was stood upright on the launch table.
The two boosters were transported to the launch pad on a specially designed truck and then configured with the rocket body, now holding it upright.

Well, seeing all the different origins of a Rocket, it is safe to say, Ariane is truly a daughter of Airbus (and Safran)
The best thing to do is to dig a hole, place living modules there and cover it with regolith to protect people from radiation

Since childhood, sometimes I just cry looking at pics and vids of the vast universe, because I know I can't even go outside the Earth's atmosphere my whole life, no matter how much I long to go and see every beautiful, strange, breathtaking interstellar views out there with my own eyes. I am but a zillionth of a speck of atom lost in space...a truly meaningless and powerless being. 😢 Sometimes I sat on the rooftop of my parent's house back in the early 90s, wearing my favorite clothes, with a backpack filled with some snacks, drinks, and my (elementary) school's training uniform, waiting for the aliens to come pick me up to visit other galaxies...and disappointed every time... And now as a middle-aged human I can't even see the stars without my thick eyeglasses anymore. I cry...
And I am tracking this bad boy via AIS. Looking forward to a lot of launches! ❤

у меня знакомый придумывает разные идеи в том числе и про космос, ... жаль, что он не в европейском космическом и не в оаэ или наса. он реально гениальные идеи высказывает, которые переворачивают мир. от бесконтактных банкрвских карт 20 лет назад, до космоса...,гэс,... ему бы дать лабораторию и пару миллиардов ... но всем до лампочки до самородков и гениев.
